What will I do in this position if hired?


This position resides in the Office of the Chief Information Officer, Operations, Operations & Services, Network Services, Video Operations - Video-HQ.

In this position you will be responsible for daily audiovisual (AV), video teleconferencing (VTC) operational and technical support for senior level meetings, all hands, as well as supporting 180+ existing conference and meeting spaces at our Headquarters facility.


Typical duties include:


1) Providing AV/VTC operational and technical support for the National Response Coordination Center (NRCC) activation working 12-hour shifts, including day and night shifts, as required.

2) Providing technical support at Tier 1, 2, 3 for senior level meetings and daily meetings.
3) Providing customer operational training on AV systems and hardware.

4) Coordinating with customer, vendors and manufacturers on technical issues, on-site maintenance, Return Material Authorization (RMA) and repair visit along with documenting work effort via ticketing system.

5) Managing workload under pressure, with quick deadlines, to provide operational and technical support for senior leadership and VIPS to include daily operations as well as disaster activation support for extended periods of time.

Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
