The WCD Risk and Regulatory Execution Consultant will execute on compliance with Third Party, Regulatory, Compliance and Process risk requirements for all segments within Wholesale Credit Delivery. The WCD Risk and Regulatory Execution team serves as the primary liaison to all internal assurance partners, including Compliance, GCO and Audit and will support the build and maintain procedures which are governed by this role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Ensures businesses adherence to all regulatory requirements to include BSA/AML, as well as other bank mandated policies, rules and regulations by routinely reviewing WCD processes for consistency with existing and new regulatory requirements.
  2. Completes Risk Review Assessments.
  3. Responds to the RCSA (Risk Control Self Assessment)
  4. Partners with risk and functional partners to understand emerging risks and regulatory changes.
  5. Assists in the successful remediation of all documented WCD findings and/or issues to include reviewing procedures for alignment with applicable regulations.
  6. Monitors for regulatory changes impacting WCD; escalates findings.
  7. Conducts Business & Technology Continuity Management (BTCM) initial intake for WCD with engagement from other critical stakeholders as appropriate
  8. Executes on Model Risk Oversight (MRO), with guidance from leadership
  9. Other duties as assigned in support of LOB initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field, and specific knowledge/experience with supporting educational background, or equivalent education and related training
  2. 5-7 years of related experience
  3. Knowledge of the business and related industry
  4. Experience on project teams and management of project work
  5. Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  7. Excels in problem-solving, partnership, communications, persuasion, and negotiation

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in compliance or operational risk adherence and execution
  2. Previous experience in Commercial Real Estate underwriting or portfolio management
  3. Independent thinker, able to work independently with little oversight
