The WCD Offshore Governance lead will provide oversight, utilization management, business support, and execution accountability to Wholesale Credit Delivery offshore partnership in the execution of the WCD offshore functions for all segments within the group. The role serves as the primary liaison with internal offshore partners as well as external partners. The role further will support the build and maintain procedures / Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) which govern the offshore vendor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Support the businesses partnership with the identified offshore partners ongoing including direct offshore partner meetings and annual governance reviews
  2. Own the PPM Standard Operating Procedures and ensure execution alignment
  3. Mange the utilization view ensuring offshore capacity is fully utilized with an expanded view
  4. Business Transition to support success including pilot programs in review of expansion opportunities and Middle Office transition of identified tasks to offshore
  5. Own the offshore vendor contingent worker process (onboarding, terminations, account set up)
  6. Development of execution reporting for visibility to WCD leaders to support accountability internally through the change.
  7. Partner with Truist internal peers leading offshore relationships to ensure alignment, consistency, and changes.
  8. Problem Resolution: Manage internal escalation of issues to determine the root cause and address appropriately
  9. Provide feedback to leadership and teammates on continuous improvement opportunities
  10. Assess process documentation, testing, and feedback on performance measurements to solution internally / offshore partner
  11. Other duties as assigned in support of LOB initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field, and specific knowledge/experience with supporting educational background, or equivalent education and related training
  2. 5-10 years of related experience
  3. Knowledge of the business and related industry
  4. Experience on project teams and management of project work
  5. Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results
  6. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  7. Excels in problem-solving, partnership, communications, persuasion, and negotiation

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in compliance or operational risk adherence and execution
  2. Previous experience underwriting or portfolio management
  3. Independent thinker, able to work independently with little oversight
