We are seeking a highly motivated Data Governance Business/Systems Analyst to support and grow with Fidelity Charitable's Data Governance team. You will play a vital role in growing the Charity's data governance capabilities, delivering governance solutions that enhance the quality, effectiveness, usage, protection, and value of our data.

Our ideal candidate will blend hands-on business and data analysis skills with a collaborative work style. As part of this small team. You will have significant opportunity to grow skills, governance subject matter expertise, and level of influence over time. Specific, shared responsibilities cross three governance capabilities and may include:

Data Quality Practice Maturity:

Collaborate with business partners to analyze and document current state processes, identify data quality risks and opportunities for improvement Assist Governance peers with the development of data quality profiling rules and metrics using SQL based profiling tools and Tableau Triage and research quality issues identified by our data community Governance Program Maturity: Define and document governance team procedures and literacy content; Assist in driving adoption and maturity through day-to-day behavior and interactions Consult and guide business partners on process and workflow optimization designed with governance and data quality principles in mind As requested, consult with Technology partners on solution enhancements to address identified data issues Support technical squads through governance check points as an embedded acceptance criteria in teams' Definition of Done Support the approval, renewal or revocation of data sharing arrangements with entities outside of the Charity. Support and participate in program communications, working groups and steering committees Data Taxonomy Maturity: Configure and test governance related tools (Collibra, Alation) with support from business resources and data technology teams who interact with these tools Establish working data definitions and content in our governance catalog The Expertise and Skills You Bring5+ years of business/systems analyst experience 3+ years of experience with data governance concepts, data quality management or principles for information risk oversight Experience navigating Oracle, Salesforce and Snowflake data environments Moderate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Access, Excel, Tableau Experience with Informatica, SnapLogic and Alteryx a plus Proven expertise in data analysis techniques and tools Proven business analysis techniques including process workflow documentation and definition, current state documentation and requirements gathering Risk-based mentality; Appreciates the significance of governing data Affinity for data; where to get it, how to use it, what it means Strong written and verbal communication skills Approaches work with curiosity and creativity; willing to challenge current practices A self-starter and who is independent, collaborative, and can work with minimum supervision Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills The Team
