Position Overview:


The Cloud Security Risk team is at the forefront of developing strategies and executing risk management for Cybersecurity in cloud-based applications.

This team collaborates across various Cybersecurity sectors, Independent Risk Management, Internal Audit, Tech Controls, Applications & Cloud Technology (ACT), and Regulatory Relations. The focus is on a comprehensive Risk Management Framework that effectively identifies, assesses, monitors, measures, and reports on risk and control maturity.


The Senior Cloud Security Risk Analyst will play a crucial role in executing the identification, assessment, monitoring, measurement, and governance of Cloud Security risks and controls. This ensures that cloud workloads align with risk tolerance and comply with established cloud security standards across all service and deployment models.

Additionally, this role will contribute to the ongoing improvement of the cloud control framework, ensuring its consistency with company policies and emerging threat vectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and evaluate cloud workload/service functions across all service types (public, private, hybrid, multi-cloud) and deployment models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), including AI and Generative AI models, to assess residual risk and ensure compliance with the cloud security control framework.
  • Identify, analyze, and monitor risks to guarantee that cloud workloads, including AI/GenAI models, are secure prior to deployment and maintain adherence to the control framework post-deployment.
  • Assess control environments across the enterprise, platform, and application layers, conduct risk assessments, perform root cause analysis, and ensure sustainable remediation strategies.
  • Support audit processes, independent risk testing, and regulatory examinations.
  • Engage with relevant governance and control management bodies to facilitate control monitoring and compliance.
  • Develop and track metrics and key risk indicators related to the threat landscape and company policies to understand overall impact and ensure comprehensive coverage of the control framework.
  • Contribute to the continuous enhancement and adoption of the Cloud Security Control Framework.
  • Define requirements for automation to support Cloud Security Risk initiatives and assist in their implementation.


Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Information Security Analysis or equivalent, including:
3+ years of experience in information security risk and controls management.


Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Cloud Security, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning.
Experience with industry standards (e.g., NIST, CSA, FFIEC, CIS, CRI Profile).
Relevant Cloud, Risk, and Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC, CCSK).
Understanding of information security threats, trends, best practices, and security tools.
Effective communication skills with peers, stakeholders, senior management, auditors, and regulators.
Strong analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills with minimal oversight, along with the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Experience in the finance sector or other regulated industries (e.g., utilities, healthcare, government).


Job Expectations:
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-office attendance for three days a week.
