Position Overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator will handle customer orders for project fulfillment, utilizing either stock inventory or the distribution network. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to oversee the order pipeline, ensuring that we meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs) for order-to-invoice timelines. Precision is vital, as the Coordinator will need to review, validate, and process various order types, including dropship, stock, run rate, deployment, or installations. Additionally, this position involves managing return requests to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Assess project order requests for correctness and completeness.
- Execute project order requests promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor open project orders to align with project expectations.
- Engage with suppliers to expedite outstanding orders.
- Inform the sales team about order statuses, including shipping updates and back orders.
- Investigate and resolve vendor invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of project-specific order processing.
- Handle return merchandise authorization (RMA) requests related to project orders.
- Communicate effectively through various channels with relevant stakeholders.
- Support multiple departments in investigating order-related issues, such as missing shipments and duplicate orders.
- Participate in the planning and execution of special events or project initiatives as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- A minimum of four years' experience in customer service or procurement is essential.
- Education requirement: high school diploma; a college degree or project certifications are preferred.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail are necessary for efficient order processing.
- Strong analytical and research skills to navigate complex scenarios.
- Outstanding organizational abilities to manage all facets of purchasing and support.
- Proficient clerical skills, along with data entry and computing capabilities.
- Familiarity with standard office productivity software is required.
- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is required to meet management expectations.
- Capability to operate a computer and other relevant technologies.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as necessary.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidentially with team members and stakeholders.
