**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee accident investigations and prevention programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards, including OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct site assessments and provide guidance on performance improvement plans to enhance safety performance.
  • Assist in safety audits and provide technical expertise to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Develop training programs for senior leadership on environmental, health, and safety issues.
  • Drive a zero-incident safety culture throughout the organization.

**Key Goals & Deliverables:**

  • Monitor progress and recommend policies for environmental, health, and safety risk reduction.
  • Perform environmental, health, and safety audits and resolve issues to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain certification for the Responsible Care Management System.
  • Manage sustainability and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

**Work Environment & Physical Demands:**

  • Regular office work with frequent visits to manufacturing locations.
  • Physical tasks including climbing, lifting up to 55 pounds, and using safety equipment.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Technical expertise in environmental, health, and safety regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 7+ years of safety program management experience.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in chemicals.
  • Proficient in data analysis and team leadership.
