The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the front desk and the supervision, scheduling, hiring and payroll of student employees. They field inquiries from faculty, students and guests through e-mail, in-person walk-ins and phone calls, and direct them to the appropriate resource. The responsibilities include making travel and accommodation arrangements for visitors and faculty, organizing departmental events, and updating event information through e-mail and the website, as well as maintaining the departmental calendars. They will process travel expense reports and other reimbursements and be responsible for maintaining internal records in the current database for expenses. Additionally, they will manage the inventory of the front office supplies and process and file all departmental mail, packages and shipments, as well as submitting all internal service request (ISR) forms related to catering, facilities, AV, parking, and any other logistics.

Required Skills

Associate's degree required, Bachelor's preferred
One to three year of relative experience
Effective time management and organization skills to handle multiple tasks amidst disruptions
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to be able to interact with faculty, staff, students and visitors
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to learn and master multiple internal operating systems

Required Experience
