The Admin Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for all people interacting with the department, they are responsible for the daily administrative operations of the Department of Mathematics & Statistics as well as overseeing the departments student employees and their payroll. The Admin Coordinator works closely with the Department Manager to support financial administration of the department and serve as the primary manager for all purchasing, travel coordination, expense reporting, expense encumbrances, and space reservations. The Admin Coordinator will support the Grants Admin and Department Manager in account reconciliation and fiscal close processes. Daily operational management includes supervising and delegating tasks to student employees, organizing departmental events, meetings, and seminars, and serving as initial point of contact for general questions from visitors, faculty, staff, and students.

Administrative Support including file management

Required Skills
High school Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
1-3 years of experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work independently

Required Experience
