Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Oversight: Manage the weekly payroll process for a diverse staff and student body. Ensure accurate recording and approval of hours in the relevant systems, and coordinate with departments regarding additional hours and budget considerations.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Collaborate with HR leadership to facilitate smooth onboarding and offboarding experiences for staff. Support new hire orientations, manage HR communications, and oversee special projects as needed.
  • Temporary and Casual Hiring: Handle the hiring and termination processes for temporary and casual employees, addressing specific departmental needs and compliance issues.
  • Administrative Functions: Oversee office supplies, manage conference room bookings, process financial vouchers, and ensure timely financial transactions.
  • Management of Personnel Records: Maintain up-to-date administrative and personnel lists, manage the college's SharePoint site, and serve as the primary contact for urgent maintenance issues.
  • Student Employee Supervision: Oversee student workers in the Business Office, ensuring effective front desk operations and support for administrative tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
