As a Cybersecurity Recovery and Resiliency Lead Engineer, youwill hold a paramount role in prioritizing cyber resilience withinCox Communications. Your primary focus will be to ensure thesecurity and resilience of our digital assets and systems whenfacing potential disasters, cyberattacks, and unforeseendisruptions. Your exceptional organizational and communicationskills will be instrumental in achieving this objective. Moreover,you will serve as a cross-functional liaison between differentsegments of the technology and business organizations, facilitatingcollaboration to enhance overall resilience. Also, you will beexpected to undertake any other duties as assigned, contributing toour organization's overalleffectiveness.
PRIMARYRESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
  • Champion the priority ofcyber resilience throughout the organization, emphasizing theimportance of initiative-taking measures against cyber threats anddisruptions.
  • Collaborate withcross-functional teams to evaluate the organization's criticalsystems and data, identifying potential risks andvulnerabilities.
  • Lead the development andimplementation of robust cyber resiliency strategies, emphasizinginitiative-taking safeguards against cyberattacks, data breaches,and digital threats.
  • Stay vigilant andinformed about the evolving threat landscape, keeping theorganization prepared for emerging cyber threats andtrends.
  • Develop and continuously updatecomprehensive disaster recovery plans that prioritize cyberresilience, aligning with business needs and regulatoryrequirements.
  • Conduct risk evaluation with afocus on cyber threats to gauge their potential impact on theorganization.
  • Placing cyber resilience aspriority collaborate as needed with response teams related tocybersecurity incidents, natural disasters, and unforeseendisruptions.
  • Coordinate and lead disasterrecovery and incident response tabletops and tests with an emphasison evaluating recovery plans' effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with business units to identify criticalbusiness functions and establish recovery time objectives (RTOs)and recovery point objectives (RPOs) that align with cyberresilience and disaster recovery goals.
  • Utilize exceptional organizational and communication skills tofoster collaboration and knowledge sharing across varioustechnology and business units.
  • Facilitatedialogue, ensuring a comprehensive approach to resilience bykeeping all stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Maintain meticulous records of disaster recovery andcyber resiliency activities, highlighting the integration of cyberresilience priorities into documentation.
  • Regularly prepare reports and presentations to communicate thestatus of disaster recovery and cyber resiliency efforts,emphasizing cyber resilience achievements to seniormanagement.
  • Strong leadership skills but cantake direction and participate in teams. The candidate should becomfortable interacting with and presenting to seniormanagement.
  • Ability to start and persist withspecific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation, senseof urgency, and ownership.
  • Highlight stronganalytical and critical thinking skills, empowering you to assesscomplex situations and make critical decisions underpressure.
  • Demonstrate flexibility andadaptability to assume any other duties assigned by theorganization, contributing to the overall success and efficiency ofthe team and the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:

Minimum
  • BA/BS degree in related discipline with 6 years of experience in arelated field (Computer Science, Information Technology,Cybersecurity); OR 18 years of equivalent experience in lieu of adegree.
  • Direct experience in developing andimplementing industry standards, regulations, and best practicesrelated to cyber resiliency and disaster recovery.
  • Strong leadership skills but can take direction andparticipate in teams. The candidate should be comfortableinteracting with and presenting to senior management and executiveleadership
Preferred
  • Experience in Telecommunications/Cable industry desired.
  • Prefer at least one of the following certifications:CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, ISO auditor/implementercertification, NCSP (NIST).
  • ProfessionalServices experience.
  • Fortune 500 companiesexperience.

Compensation:
Compensationincludes a base salary of $106, $177, The basesalary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based onfactors such as the ultimate location of the position and theselected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position maybe eligible for additional compensation that may include anincentiveprogram.
