Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity framework at ACL Digital. This role is pivotal in fortifying our organization's defenses against vulnerabilities and threats.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Subject Matter Expert in Qualys Vulnerability Management solutions.
  • Proficient in centralized vulnerability reporting tools (e.g., Kenna Security, Vulcan).
  • Experience in risk-based vulnerability management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Qualys Policy Compliance.
  • Knowledge of IoT/OT security solutions (e.g., Armis, Nozomi).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Qualys (VMDR), Policy Compliance, and Vulnerability Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Kenna Security, Vulcan, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python, as well as REST APIs.
  • Experience in developing analytical reports using MS PowerBI.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Understanding of vulnerability management and web application scanning methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks like PCI, PII, and GDPR.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic.
  • Experience in identifying process gaps and implementing solutions.
  • Proficient in Excel for data extraction and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance a comprehensive vulnerability management program.
  • Provide strategic remediation guidance and collaborate with IT and technology teams to oversee the mitigation of vulnerabilities.
  • Assess and implement a vulnerability reporting solution to consolidate all infrastructure, application, and container vulnerabilities.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, including common configuration vulnerabilities.
  • Apply security hardening principles across desktop, server, application, database, and network environments.
  • Create detailed vulnerability reports and scorecards reflecting the organization's security posture.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of vulnerability assessments.
  • Investigate exploit techniques and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze asset and vulnerability data to uncover risks not identified through automated scans.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising from automated network and agent scans.
  • Review vulnerability notifications and prioritize remediation efforts based on research findings.
  • Integrate vulnerability management tools with other systems such as CMDB, SIEM, and PowerBI.
  • Assist in implementing policy compliance tools to monitor adherence to industry benchmarks.
  • Support the deployment of IoT and OT security solutions to secure unmanaged assets.
  • Develop automation scripts to identify and remediate non-compliant resources in cloud environments.
