Job Title: Senior Information Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid Work Model

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer to enhance our cybersecurity posture at ACL Digital. This role is pivotal in developing and managing a comprehensive vulnerability management program.

Key Qualifications:

  • Subject Matter Expert in Qualys Vulnerability Management solutions.
  • Proficient in centralized vulnerability reporting tools such as Kenna Security or Vulcan.
  • Experience in risk-based vulnerability management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Qualys Policy Compliance.
  • Knowledge of IoT/OT security solutions like Armis or Nozomi.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Qualys (VMDR), Policy Compliance, and Vulnerability Management.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Kenna Security, Vulcan, or similar platforms.
  • Proficient in scripting languages including PowerShell and Python, as well as REST APIs.
  • Experience in generating reports using MS PowerBI.
  • Hands-on experience with IoT/OT technologies.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Solid understanding of vulnerability management, policy compliance, and web application scanning methodologies.
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks including PCI, PII, and GDPR.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a creative and adaptive work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage with various organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and thorough in work approach.
  • Adept at identifying process gaps and formulating effective solutions.
  • Experience in developing tools to enhance efficiency in routine tasks.
  • Proficient in Excel functions and data extraction techniques.
  • Comprehensive understanding of vulnerability management as a holistic program.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and expand a next-generation vulnerability management framework.
  • Provide remediation guidance and collaborate with IT and other teams to oversee vulnerability mitigation efforts.
  • Assess and implement a vulnerability reporting solution to centralize and aggregate vulnerabilities across all infrastructure, applications, and containers.
  • Possess extensive knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux environments, including common configuration vulnerabilities.
  • Deep understanding of security hardening principles for desktops, servers, applications, databases, and networks.
  • Create vulnerability reports and scorecards to illustrate the current security risk posture of the organization.
  • Conduct research and analysis of scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments and disseminate findings.
  • Investigate exploit techniques and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze asset and vulnerability data to uncover risks not identified through automated scanning.
  • Troubleshoot issues arising during automated network and agent scans.
  • Review vulnerability notifications and disclosures, prioritize remediation efforts based on research findings.
  • Integrate vulnerability management tools with other systems such as CMDB, SIEM, and PowerBI.
  • Assist in implementing policy compliance tools to monitor adherence to CIS and other industry benchmarks.
  • Support the deployment of IoT and OT security solutions to identify and secure unmanaged assets.
  • Develop rules to detect non-compliant resources in cloud environments and automate remediation processes.
