POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, and management of secure and resilient cloud infrastructures. This role is crucial in enabling development teams to efficiently deliver features while maintaining high security standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architect and maintain secure cloud environments that support development and operational activities.
  • Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to manage cloud infrastructures.
  • Develop and enhance automation processes for continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure management across various environments.
  • Implement observability and resilience strategies within multi-cloud environments.
  • Support the establishment of security policies, standards, and governance frameworks.
  • Evaluate and integrate new FedRAMP cloud services while adhering to security best practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in cloud environments with expertise in:

  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Collaboration tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
  • CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) such as Azure, AWS, or OCI.
  • Container orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
  • Security automation tools, including SAST and DAST.
  • Cybersecurity tools such as Aviatrix, Orca, and Splunk.
  • Infrastructure automation with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Version control systems and branching strategies.
  • High availability and scalability best practices in cloud architecture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science or Engineering is required. Preferred certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP. The candidate should possess strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
