Human Resources Specialist

This position is located in the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA), Office of Mission Support (OMS), Human Capital and Personnel Security (HC&PS), Human Capital and reports to the Assistant Director of Human Capital (ADHC). The primary purpose for this position is to serve as TIGTA's learning and development program manager with full responsibility for the integration of training, leadership development, and adult education.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
- Serves as TIGTA's learning and development program manager.
- Provides policy and procedural guidance in areas such as training support coordination and training evaluation systems.
- Leverages technology to support efficient program delivery and communication.
- Develops procedures, criteria, and standards for use in identifying and evaluating TIGTA's training needs.
- Conducts comprehensive evaluation of organizational goals, objectives, staff, equipment requirements, and organizational structures and identifies and recommends solutions to training needs.
