Job Description

As a member of the Olympus Financial Services team, this role is responsible to maintain accurate policy records and understands the basic processing of insurance application, reinstatement, and cancellation of insurance policies.

Job Duties

  • Works directly with insurance agents, Sales teams, and policyholders to modify, update and process insurance policies.
  • Review and verify information including names, address, assets, and other data to ensure the accuracy of insurance company records.
  • Corresponds with existing and prospective customers via phone and e-mail in accordance with the company policies; documenting all details to deliver optimal customer service.
  • Tracks and maintains insurance records in leasing system and provides monthly status reports on which assets are in and out of compliance.
  • Requests evidence of renewal certificates for all expired insurance policies from insurance agents and/or customers as needed.
  • Prepares facility listings for insurance agents to obtain blanket insurance policies for large customers.
  • Maintains tracking records for timely follow-up of requests.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Travel not ordinarily required; however overnight travel 1-2 times a year may be necessary for national sales meetings leasing industry events or business unit business reviews. No international travel.

Preferred:

  • Experience using data entry, recordkeeping or insurance policy programs is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of insurance policies, carriers and processing is considered a plus.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Solid listening & problem-solving skills.
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Requires a calm and patient personality and dedicated work ethic.
  • Must enjoy working individually and in a team environment.
  • Must be professional and punctual.
  • Ability to stay focused and have excellent time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, Internet and Email.
  • Knowledge of InfoLease considered a plus.
