The Event Set-Up Supervisor is responsible for setting up and breaking down all meeting spaces with tables/chairs/water, etc. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift moderate weight. This is a fast-paced position. Other job duties are listed below.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee assigned functions and events. Schedule the proper set-up and break-down of all banquet functions, coordinating the activities of all assigned personnel and department responsibilities. Maintain the highest quality of service related to all banquet and meetings service.
  • Tears-down and sets-up meeting and event rooms, daily.
    • Properly cares for, moves, and stores equipment, such as tables, chairs, risers, dance floors
  • Whether setting up and breaking down materials, transporting supplies, stocking bars and action stations, or anything in between, the supervisor plays a key role in making our events run flawlessly.
  • Event Set-Up Supervisor will be on their feet and moving around (stand, sit, or walk for an extended time) and taking a hands-on approach to work (move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 75 pounds with assistance)
