Our client, a prominent educational institution, is in search of an Events Coordinator to support their operations. This role involves a full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, offering competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the conceptualization and execution of promotional events from initial planning to final delivery.
- Oversee logistical arrangements, including selection of platforms, audiovisual requirements, and technical assistance.
- Establish and maintain detailed timelines, budgets, and task lists for events.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners to ensure all event components meet high standards.
- Manage attendee registration processes, including online systems and ongoing support for participants.
- Design and coordinate the distribution of promotional materials for events, such as flyers, brochures, emails, and social media content.
- Identify, negotiate, and nurture relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Ensure seamless execution of events, addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Conduct evaluations post-event to assess success and identify areas for enhancement.
- Gather and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of event activities and generate reports on outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline.
- 2-3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, ideally within a marketing framework.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing several projects at once.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in event management software, HubSpot, Canva, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in the higher education sector is advantageous.
