Overview:
The Senior Examination Supervisor at ACL Digital is responsible for overseeing the administration of written assessments within the Testing Center. This role includes supervising and training a team of proctors, managing scheduling, and ensuring a smooth examination process for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide proctors during exam sessions, preparing necessary reports.
- Assess weekly exam schedules to determine staffing requirements.
- Develop and distribute weekly schedules for proctors.
- Assist students with inquiries regarding exams and facilitate communication with faculty.
- Monitor examination rooms throughout the testing process.
- Act as a primary contact for proctors and students seeking clarification.
- Enforce examination time limits and ensure compliance with procedures.
- Provide explanations and address questions related to exam protocols and accommodations.
- Prepare and distribute examination materials to candidates.
- Collect and verify completed exams.
- Ensure that examination rooms are set up to accommodate students' needs.
- Report any technical issues with testing equipment and seek prompt resolutions.
- Coordinate with the Assistive Technology Center for special technology needs.
- Perform clerical duties such as managing correspondence and maintaining records.
- Support operations at the check-in desk as required.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an academic setting.
- At least one year of administrative experience.
- One year of experience in customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in higher education with knowledge of academic policies.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with care.
- Capability to learn and utilize various software applications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask while exercising sound judgment.
- Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to navigate multiple buildings on campus for extended periods.
- Physical capability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.
