Job Summary

The Director of Operations will lead and manage multiple complex projects, valued at $100M, with ambitious growth targets. This role involves overseeing commercial and U.S. government logistics and production support solutions, aligning with strategic goals, and developing key performance indicators. Strong leadership skills are essential, with a history of guiding senior program managers and their teams, and implementing organizational visions focused on growth, customer focus, and employee development. The Director will act as a subject matter expert, support business development, and cultivate strong customer relationships, contributing to a 7% annual portfolio growth. This is a remote position based in the U.S., with a travel requirement of approximately 25-40%.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction of the Sr. Director of Operations to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Achieve annual portfolio budget goals for Revenue, Operations Income, and Operations Margin.
  • Coordinate with project/program managers to develop and track key performance indicators, analyze variances, and develop recovery plans.
  • Maintain Recurring Action Item List (RAIL) tracking and ensure compliance with Customer KPIs and KBR Courage to Care TRIR goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, gather past performance information, prepare basis of estimates, and write portions of bids and proposals.
  • Grow the business portfolio and manage the business development pipeline with Senior PMs, BD Capture Managers, and Sales.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with Honeywell Procurement AERO and SPS.
  • Define addressable markets with consultant support.
  • Promote and sell KBR digital platforms to various customers.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizenship Required
  • Ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance within the first year.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field.
  • 15+ years of experience managing logistics operations of 50 or more employees across multiple geographic locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a Profit and Loss (P&L) statement of significant size.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and strategic growth in both federal and commercial markets, including collaborating with executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to drive operational performance through process improvements, cash-flow enhancement, and accounts receivable management, resulting in significant cost savings and productivity gains.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving consistent year-over-year growth in business development.
  • Experience in establishing and executing a long-term portfolio vision aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Strong background in process improvement initiatives that lead to measurable positive changes for stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective cash-flow and accounts receivable management strategies.
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership on a variety of strategic initiatives, including customer development and employee improvement programs.
