Description: What you'll be doing

Another Source's client, Sabey Data Centers, is recruiting a SecuritySupervisor to join their team in Austin, TX.

This role requires primarily weekday hours as well as the ability respond to systems issues 24/7.

The importance this role has in our organization:

The SecuritySupervisor is responsible for the management of internal and external physical security, providing a visual security presence to ensure visitors, clients, and employees have a safe and pleasant experience while inside the facility. The Security Supervisor will deter and detect suspicious activities and watch for criminal acts or site infractions that may pose a threat to the property, client, or employees at the site. Provide excellent customer service to all individuals that enter the facility and further employee/management relations, goodwill, and customer service. The Security Supervisor seeks to ensure the systems are performing as intended, with consistent results and operations within specific tolerances. This individual will create a direct partnership with each location's Operations management team and work closely with the local operations teams and vendor security staff to provide viable solutions to any identified security systems gaps.

The Security Supervisor reports to the Security Manager and functions as a member of the Operations Services team.

The Security Supervisor will be an extremely organized self-starter and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Principal Job Duties:

Oversees the contracted vendor security services. Trains security officers on various security systems, access control processes and daily duties, to include: Security requests and ticket management. Lenel access control and CCTV systems. Post orders, SOP's, and consolidated work rules. All required documentation and daily reporting. Physical patrols. Verifies all required training is completed. Regularly conducts Officer knowledge checks, documents deficiencies, and offers refresher training when necessary. Reviews ticket management system daily to ensure all requests are fulfilled accurately and tickets are closed in a timely manner. Creates and delivers all monthly customer requested security reports. Performs weekly and monthly audits to ensure compliance with written standards and policies.To include: DAR, key log, officer pass down completion and accuracy. Review access logs. Consolidated work rules verification. Daily round verification. Supports in site compliance audits. Schedules and oversees the maintenance and repair of all physical security systems and devices. Oversees risk assessments of physical security andcollaborates withSecurity and Safety Manager. Coordinates or completes internal/external security investigations. Conducts monthly and quarterly first aid, AED and fire extinguisher checks. Carries outcontingency/emergency plans and proceduresas circumstances require. Knowledge and familiarization with the emergency action plan and evacuation procedures. Other duties as assigned. Embody Sabey core values.

Essential Functions

Interface with technology and operate a computer. Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching upward, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to handle emergency and crisis situations efficiently and effectively. Ability to work independently with minimal instruction. Ability to interact with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners - must be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate degree or a minimum of seven years of related experience in Security and/or training preferred. 5 years' experience in Security Management(Preferred) Access Control Systems: 1 year (Preferred) State-specific guard license/certificate (Preferred)

Minimum Competencies

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of work. Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and math skills. Ability to be flexible, including the willingness and ability to readily respond to changing circumstances and expectations. Proven leadership, management, interpersonal, negotiation, organizational, analytic, and communication skills. The ability to build and lead teams and to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Advanced knowledge of the English language - excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of Sabey employees and business partners. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detail. Must be committed to continuous learning and growing within the organization. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc. Proficiency in other software a plus. Ability to become proficient in other software, including Yardi.
