Control Risks is seeking a skilled Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator to support our esteemed client in the electronics sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage an array of GSOC technologies, including access control systems, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and emergency notification systems.
- Administer and oversee internal databases related to GSOC protocols and procedures.
- Coordinate and dispatch support services for various emergencies, including medical, security, and natural disasters, while collaborating with internal emergency teams and external agencies.
- Assess and analyze threat intelligence reports that may affect the client, utilizing open-source information and vendor alerts.
- Document detailed information for incident logging, database updates, and maintenance requests, ensuring accurate capture of relevant details.
- Evaluate and escalate incidents appropriately, managing them from initiation to resolution while maintaining communication with stakeholders.
- Handle sensitive incidents with the utmost confidentiality and adhere to information security policies.
- Maintain consistent communication with the GSOC supervisor regarding ongoing operations.
- Assist with special projects, events, and additional tasks as directed by the GSOC Supervisor or Manager.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two years of experience in a call center, security command, or operations center environment, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- Experience in military or law enforcement is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate effectively under pressure and in stressful situations.
- Self-driven with the ability to make independent decisions while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Control Risks provides a competitive compensation and benefits package, details of which will be shared in the full job offer.
- We have a discretionary bonus program that rewards individuals based on both company and personal performance.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 Base, plus Bonus.
