Job Overview

The Loss Prevention Team at AT&T Hotel & Conference Center is seeking to fill an overnight security position. This role typically operates from 11 PM to 7:30 AM.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess an active Guard Card and hold current CPR Certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular foot patrols of the hotel premises to identify and assess potential security risks or safety hazards.
  2. Maintain order within the hotel, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests, assisting with lock issues, and responding to emergencies in a calm and effective manner.
  3. Welcome all incoming staff and perform temperature checks, ensuring compliance with health screening protocols.
  4. Respond promptly to security-related phone calls, prioritizing based on urgency, and prepare shift reports regarding hotel occupancy and events.
  5. Familiarize yourself with the life safety systems, including the layout of the building and locations of safety equipment, and report any significant findings.
  6. Monitor surveillance feeds for suspicious activities and report any concerns to the on-duty supervisor.
  7. Provide First Aid and CPR as necessary.

Regular attendance is crucial for the successful execution of this role, in line with the standards set by the organization.

Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work flexible hours to meet the operational needs of the hotel.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Assist guests with inquiries regarding directions and operational hours.
  2. Document and secure lost property, addressing guest inquiries related to lost items.
  3. Help guests with lock and safe issues using appropriate tools.
  4. Escort guests and staff to parking areas as needed.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
