Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol assigned areas to detect potential safety hazards and deter crime, while maintaining clear communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Investigate all incidents, accidents, and offenses, and take appropriate action to prevent future occurrences.
  • Respond to public service calls, including criminal offenses, civil process, and customer service requests.
  • Assist Police Officers as needed to maintain order and assist with arrests.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide assistance within the scope of the officer's training and expertise.
  • Ensure secure facilities by locking doors as required and unlocking facilities upon receiving proper authorization.
  • Produce accurate and concise reports, including incident reports, safety hazards, and general information.
  • Handle sensitive investigations and information in a professional manner, safeguarding confidential information.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Commissioned Security Officer (LSO) certification required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License required.
