POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Pricing Analytics Specialist is responsible for preparing pricing and margin analysis for quotes that deviate from outlined policies. Ensures proper adherence and tracking of quote approval for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX). The Sales Pricing Analytics Specialist also serves as a lead to the Pricing Analysts in analyzing, processing, and documentation of Deviation of Policy quotes. Acts as main point of the contact and support for the team and ensures daily tactical activities are being completed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Completes Deviation of Policy pricing and margin analysis for consumption and evaluation by Line of Business, Sales Operations, and Vertiv Executives
  • Ensures that all quotes adhere to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance requirements
  • Works with Sales, Product, and Executive teams to understand bid strategies, margins, and approvals, including those broader than strictly pricing
  • Acts as a primary Point of Contact for both US and Manila based Pricing Analysts and supports timely and accurate processing of Deviation of Policy quotes
  • Creates and maintains documentation for all relevant processes and workflows
  • Coordinates and/or facilitates conversations between key stakeholders for quotes, bids, and RFPs
  • Acts as a mentor and coordinates activities amongst a group of analysts
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with a preferred focus in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Analytics, Pricing, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient with the Office 365 platform; strong Excel proficiency preferred
  • Experience leading from within a team
  • Experience with data analysis and validation
  • Detail oriented; strategic problem solver
  • Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills
