Key Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Representatives in establishing pricing for new accounts, large orders, and securing prices.
  • Analyze and review the locked-in pricing for 10-15 accounts daily based on current pricing policies.
  • Notify Sales Representatives of any price adjustments on accounts.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to Sales Representatives through phone and email, adhering to documented pricing guidelines and staying informed on pricing policy changes.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company's freight programs, ensuring accurate pricing information is provided.
  • Evaluate price overrides and deviations promptly to meet company standards.
  • Assess new account and credit applications, applying necessary price books to ensure timely submission.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of Kimball's pricing strategies, maintenance processes, promotional programs, and eligibility criteria.
  • Gain expertise in online pricing functionalities, capable of resolving pricing discrepancies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX and SQL Database for data analysis.
  • Familiarity with general pricing principles and the ability to calculate percentage discounts or adders from specified price points.
