Role Summary:
The Predictive Analytics Specialist will take the lead in developing innovative predictive modeling techniques and automated analytical processes to support various business functions, including Marketing and Finance. This role requires expertise in data sourcing, collection, and feature engineering to facilitate effective modeling initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a primary strategist in data science to create and refine methodologies and models that meet evolving business demands.
2. Collaborate with brand partners on analytics and modeling initiatives.
3. Extract, cleanse, and prepare data for predictive analysis.
4. Design and implement automated, production-ready predictive model pipelines.
5. Write complex queries and automation scripts using Python and SQL.
6. Manage projects from conception through to the development of proof of concepts and automated pipelines.
7. Partner with business teams to integrate findings into strategic initiatives.
8. Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
9. Conduct hypothesis testing, sample size determination, and power analysis.
10. Stay informed on business performance, strategic goals, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of six years of experience in modeling and analytics using Python/R/SAS in a dynamic professional setting.
• Advanced skills in pattern recognition, clustering, statistics, and predictive modeling methodologies.
• Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries.
• Knowledgeable in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning techniques.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake.
• Background in retail, consumer goods, or customer marketing.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlikview.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment with multiple projects.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
• A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
