About the Role

The Clinical Learning and Development Specialist will play a vital role in enhancing the capabilities of our therapist network, ultimately contributing to improving the quality of patient care and the overall success of Rula as an organization. The person in this role will be a valued member of the Quality team – engaged in identifying knowledge and practice gaps based on quality indicators, creating and delivering professional development for providers, and offering internal consultation to ensure our organization is consistent, accurate, and ahead of regulatory requirements in its clinical messaging. Required Qualifications

  • Active and unencumbered clinical license in any state (LCSW, LMFT, LPC or equivalent; CA preferred)
  • >8 years of licensed clinical therapy experience, primarily with adults
  • Quality improvement and/or peer review background required (i.e. in a clinical supervisory capacity)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing clinical training content for licensed providers
  • Foundational knowledge of documentation requirements in behavioral health
  • Specialized in instructional design and creation of effective training programs, including identifying learning objectives, designing engaging content, and choosing appropriate delivery methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical documentation experience with commercial payers
  • Solid understanding of CPT codes in behavioral health
  • Experience with Google Suite and video-editing software
  • Supportive, confident approach to delivering training from a collaborative and respectful perspective
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver engaging and impactful educational content to diverse audiences
