HYPEART is seeking a passionate Editorial Intern to join the team. This role revolves around creating engaging contemporary art news content, curating social media posts for HYPEART, and contributing to potential feature stories. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of contemporary art journalism and social media curation.

Responsibilities:

Research and write compelling news articles on contemporary art trends, events, and exhibitions.Assist in developing feature stories, artist profiles, and gallery reviews.Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and aligns with HYPEART's voice and style.Curate and schedule engaging social media posts across HYPEART's platforms.Learn social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content strategy.Collaborate with the editorial team to align social media content with ongoing stories and features.Support the team in brainstorming and pitching new content ideas.Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to the overall content strategy.Qualifications:Strong interest in contemporary art and culture.Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.Prior experience in writing or social media management is a plus but not required.$17 - $17 an hourThe expected hourly rate for this role is $17. The hourly rate is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, relevant skill set, location and other factors are considered when determining the hourly rate offered.
