New York, New York, United States UNICEF - United Nations Children's Fund Full time
UNICEF works in some of the world's toughest places, to reach the world's most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, Hope**UNICEF is looking for an intern(s) to help us with our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as part of our overall organizational culture effort. This aims to build a more ethical, inclusive, empowering workplace where all our staff respect, enable, and inspire each other to do our best for the world's children.

UNICEF's culture, defined by its underlying values, ethical principles, beliefs, assumptions and behaviors that make the organization and its people unique, is the core of who we are.

The culture runs deep and together with the UNICEF mission and mandate, is part of what makes a UNICEF colleague proud to be a part of this organization.

We strive to level the playing field by removing barriers so that everyone has a fair opportunity to join UNICEF and leverage their individual strengths and talents.

We can only deliver better results for children by intentionally focusing on diversity and by amplifying the voices of those who are least heard.

[Our core values] "UNICEF Values Charter 11x17 poster") (charter also available in [French] "Charte des valeurs de l'UNICEF 11x17 Poster") and [Spanish] "Carta de valores de UNICEF 11x17 poster")) of care, respect, integrity, trust and accountability guide the way we serve children and the way colleagues at UNICEF are expected to relate to one another.
