This role will play a critical leadership position within the U.
S.
Commercial Compliance team supporting the Global Commercial Services' marketing organization.
The role will also support all commercial sales channels from a line of business compliance perspective.

This person will provide strategic compliance expertise to drive innovation for the business while aligning with applicable laws and regulations for commercial products, features and processes.

The compliance efforts for this position will have a particular focus on supporting marketing strategies, risk management initiatives, customer communications and sales practices.


Job responsibilities include:
Providing solution-oriented compliance guidance to assist business colleagues in reaching their goals while meeting compliance requirements.

Driving implementation of policy and regulatory requirements in the areas of UDAP, Fair Lending and Regulation Z, general credit card practices, general banking, sales practices and other relevant federal, state and local regulations.

Managing all compliance program responsibilities associated with the annual compliance planning process.

Advising leaders on areas of emerging risk and approaches to improve necessary controls and practices as appropriate, including in the area of sales practices.

Partnering with key compliance and business partners across the Enterprise such as the General Counsel's Organization, Audit and Operational Excellence groups.

Qualifications Deep regulatory knowledge of the financial regulations applicable to U.
S.
banking products including UDAP, Fair Lending, Regulation Z.
and sales practices.
Prior credit card industry, compliance, legal or risk experience is a plus.

Strong relationship and leadership skills with proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Ability to exercise good judgment in the development and pursuit of compliant solutions.
Prior experience of leading and developing high performing teams is a plus.
Excellent written, verbal, research, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Strong project management skills, ability to lead multiple projects and support multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt easily to frequent change.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
