New York, New York, United States Amazon Services LLC Full time
The Search Customer Experience team is responsible for worldwide customer facing search features on desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.

We thoughtfully design the shopper experience from the moment a customer clicks on the search box to the point where they have evaluated the search results page and made a confident decision on how to take the next step in their shopping journey.

We use customer research and customer behavior analysis to develop new features ideas and we test them through hundreds of A/B experiments each year.

This immense amount of data allows us to leverage machine learning and large language models to build smarter and more personalized experiences for our customers across a wide variety of categories, from instant video and Kindle books to apparel and electronics.

We are looking for a customer-obsessed TPM to embrace the challenge of building the most delightful shopping experience on earth.

You will leverage your technical expertise to effectively partner across dozens of 2-pizza teams across the company to deliver step-change improvements to the Search CX.

You will manage projects with cross-org dependencies, understand competing business priorities from various business units and identify foundational technical components that will unlock new kinds of customer-facing features.

You will understand the fundamentals of current search systems and help evolve the architecture to enable faster experimentation and more meaningful launches for our customers without sacrificing foundational customer needs like fluid rendering and accessibility.

You will also align product, design, science and engineering orgs towards simple mechanisms covering everything from ideation to delivery to cost of ownership.

A successful leader in this role will be an exemplary communicator, both verbally and in written form, and use this skill to relentlessly advocate for customer needs.

You will regularly present monthly, quarterly and yearly strategic documents to leaders up to the Senior VP level.

You should love the challenge of balancing operational resilience with speed of delivery as you work on large-scale, customer facing projects.

You are equally comfortable leading tactical delivery as you are defining north star vision for your area.
