Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical product or program management.
  • 8+ years of direct collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Proven experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in project management disciplines, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
  • Experience in defining KPIs/SLAs to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements, write specifications, manage multiple software development efforts, drive thorough testing, and coordinate product launches.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with cross-functional teams to negotiate project plans, secure commitments, and resolve blocking issues.
  • Demonstrated passion for tackling complex problems and delivering innovative, high-quality technical solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in building solutions within distributed systems and/or developing large-scale web applications.
  • Familiarity with user experience design and creating high-profile customer-facing products.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and program management practices.

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is influenced by factors such as market location and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a comprehensive compensation package, which may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
