Aescape is in search of a Technical Program Manager for Software Systems who will spearhead and implement intricate cross-departmental initiatives aimed at delivering cutting-edge software-generated massage content and next-generation content tools. Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Program Manager for Software Systems at Aescape, you will lead substantial, cross-functional initiatives related to software-generated massage content and the development of next-generation content tools. This role necessitates collaboration with engineering and product management to oversee all project phases: defining, scheduling, prioritizing, tracking, and communicating project status. You will coordinate efforts across teams representing various layers of content development and other cross-functional partners, including software engineering, hardware, product, design, marketing, and partnerships. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as you advance projects, prioritize tasks, eliminate obstacles, and escalate risks.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to manage content programs throughout their entire lifecycle, including research and development of next-generation content tools.
  • Oversee cross-functional content development and production timelines, ensuring the timely delivery of new content to partners and members.
  • Assist in documenting requirements, creating user stories, developing detailed project plans, and identifying tasks, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Monitor milestones and dependencies, ensuring timely completion of tasks across all relevant teams.
  • Proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues.
  • Keep senior management informed of program status and communicate issues promptly.
  • Analyze development processes and pinpoint areas for improvement.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years of software program management experience, with at least 4 years in robotics: a proven history of leading and delivering multiple complex software and content projects, particularly in the robotics sector.
  • Strong hands-on technology program management skills, including extensive experience with JIRA and other project management tools.
  • Experience in delivering project features that involve cross-team collaboration, anticipating needs, mitigating risks, and facilitating discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to implement Agile methodologies, including conducting daily standups, backlog grooming, and sprint sessions.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong influencing capabilities and the ability to clarify ambiguity.
  • A curious mindset open to new ideas and unafraid to ask challenging questions.
  • A self-starter capable of navigating through ambiguity.
  • An engineering degree with a passion for robotics and customer engagement.
  • A working knowledge of robot control and vision systems, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a broader audience.
  • Experience with collaborative robots or autonomous systems operating in close proximity to humans.
  • A background in structured problem-solving and a data-driven approach, with familiarity in analytics and comfort in developing metrics and reports.
