Position Overview:
The Channel Sales Manager is tasked with crafting and executing a robust channel sales framework aimed at driving revenue enhancement and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in channel sales leadership, a solid history of establishing thriving partner ecosystems, and the capability to nurture enduring relationships with channel collaborators.
Core Responsibilities:
- Channel Sales Framework: Formulate and execute a detailed channel sales plan that aligns with the organization's overarching business goals. Identify and prioritize target demographics and prospective channel collaborators.
- Partner Acquisition and Oversight: Seek out and integrate new channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and value-added entities, to broaden the company's market presence. Cultivate and sustain strong connections with current partners to optimize sales potential.
- Sales Objective Fulfillment: Establish ambitious sales objectives for the channel sales team and partner network. Track performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement strategies to ensure targets are met or surpassed.
- Channel Empowerment: Equip channel partners with training, resources, and support to enhance their comprehension of the company's offerings and empower them to effectively engage end customers.
- Market Intelligence: Remain vigilant regarding market dynamics, competitor actions, and industry trends related to channel sales. Utilize this intelligence to uncover new business prospects and refine the channel sales strategy as necessary.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product innovation, and customer support, to ensure a unified and effective channel sales strategy.
- Sales Analytics: Generate and present regular reports on channel sales performance and insights to senior leadership. Provide a comprehensive overview of channel achievements and challenges.
- Budget Oversight: Administer the channel sales budget, judiciously allocating resources to maximize sales efforts and achieve favorable returns on investment.
Supervisory Duties:
- No supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be located within Atlanta, GA, with the ability to travel.
- 3-5 years of experience in Channel Sales and Business Development.
- Minimum of 2 years in the Food Service Distribution or Hospitality Software sectors.
- Expertise in Channel or Key Accounts Sales.
- Strong leadership and communication capabilities, with a knack for motivating and guiding the channel sales team and partners.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Customer-centric approach with a talent for building and maintaining strong partner relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and leverage business opportunities through channel partnerships.
- Excellent English communication skills for engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience in hardware distribution is highly desirable.
- Exceptional time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
- Sales experience with comprehensive knowledge of hospitality technology and the product lifecycle in the restaurant industry is preferred.
