This position serves as the Deputy Associate Director of the Risk Services Subdivision within NRMC.

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing risk analysis and collaboration with public-private cyber and physical security partners to mitigate risk to National Critical Functions - those functions of government and the private sector so vital to the United States that their disruption, corruption, or dysfunction would have a debilitating effect on security, national economic security, national public health or safety, or any combination thereof.

Specifically, the incumbent will contribute to driving consistent and coherent understandings of risk throughout the critical infrastructure community and enable improved collaborative risk management-with an emphasis on mitigation-across the critical infrastructure community.

Incumbent leads valuable risk analysis outputs and collaborating risk management activities across CISA, DHS, with other federal agencies, and with external partners and stakeholders; and provides leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a large and diverse team of strategic, operational, technical, and analytic professionals across a variety of grade and experience levels in the areas of:
Risk Analysis and Prioritization
Risk Management Coordination and Governance
Operational Priorities and Initiatives Management

Typical work assignments include:
Provides administrative and technical supervision necessary for accomplishing the work of the sub-division.
Performs the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised.
Observes workers' performance; demonstrates and conducts work performance critiques.
Assures the subordinates are trained and fully comply with the provisions of the safety regulations.

Maintains leadership situational awareness of engagements and partnerships related to mitigating risk to National Critical Functions, resource allocations and needs, and milestones in achieving success against program and division-level goals.

Analyzes work products from various subordinate-led engagements and synthesizes this information to identify and develop strategies for partner engagement, resourcing, and risk mitigation.

Projects and prepares estimated budgets and staffing plans as required.

Manages risk portfolios and the development of strategies, plans, or products which may involve significant changes, conflicts, and impacts on current programs and policies.

Ability to Supervise through Subordinate Supervisors.
