POSITION SUMMARY

As a Cold Kitchen Specialist, you will be responsible for the preparation of exquisite plate and platter presentations for various events. Your role will involve crafting cold dishes, utilizing kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers to create delightful culinary offerings. You will prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing food efficiently. Additionally, you will ensure the quality of food items by monitoring their preparation and conducting taste tests to confirm they meet our high standards.

Maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment is crucial. You will wash and disinfect work areas, tools, and equipment while setting up and breaking down your workstation. Regular checks on appliance temperatures and food safety will be part of your daily responsibilities.

Adherence to company policies and safety protocols is essential. You will report any maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions to your supervisor and complete necessary safety training. Professional appearance and confidentiality are expected at all times. You will also engage with guests, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs with a friendly demeanor.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years in a similar role.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None required.
