Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute all tasks related to food storage, preparation, serving, and cleaning operations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education/Certification: No specific educational requirements.
  • Skills: Proficiency in English, effective time management, basic computer skills, fundamental math abilities, and strong communication skills.
  • Experience: No previous experience necessary.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and follow instructions in English; foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Adhere to both verbal and written instructions, assist with cleaning tasks, and uphold proper food handling and hygiene standards.
  • Prepare meals according to established recipes, manage food supplies, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes, participate in training sessions, and operate institutional equipment.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

Working Environment:

  • Physical Requirements: Involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and exposure to water and cleaning chemicals.
  • Mental Requirements: Must manage time effectively under the pressures of daily operations.
  • Environmental Conditions: Exposure to varying temperatures, loud sounds, multiple activities, and diverse groups.
  • Equipment Utilized: Includes mixers, slicers, ovens, steam tables, sharp knives, coolers, POS systems, and more.
