Promotes the Office of Justice Programs' (OJP's) Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program in accordance with all applicable authorities, including 29 CFR § 1614 U.S.

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Management Directives MD-110 and MD-715 and all EEO laws, regulations, and guidance applicable to the federal sector workplace.

Responsible for regularly entering and updating all EEO complaints events/activities into the Departments of Justice EntelliTrak Equal Employment Opportunity (ETK EEO) Case Management System.

Collects and analyzes EEO statistical data, prepares comprehensive reports i.e., EEO quarterly NO FEAR ACT REPORT, Annual 462 Report, and prepares the MD 715 report.

Responsible for assisting the EEO Manager in the development and execution of the EEO Program.
Tasked with handling EEO counseling duties that encompass intricate and delicate matters.
Provides technical support and assistance to other EEO staff in administering the complaint process.
Processes informal individual complaints, conflict cases, and complaints of discrimination in accordance with the established laws and regulations.
Secures relevant information from managers/management officials, employees, and other witnesses as appropriate.
Implements procedures to attempt resolution of complaints through the Alternative Dispute Resolution's process, traditional counseling, and other avenues.

Serves as an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Specialist responsible for coordination and preparation of all EEO documents from the informal, formal and the investigative process to include the EEOC process, FAD process and the appeals process.

Oversees and updates the Fed-Sep site in accordance with EEOC guidelines.
Responsible for conducting sufficiency reviews on all Reports of Investigations.

Participates in the oversight and evaluation of the EEO program, coordination, and implementation of the various EEO programs such as the Special Emphasis Programs, i.e., the Federal Women's, Black Employment, Hispanic Employment, Asian-Pacific Islanders, Native American Employment, and Disability Program, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA).

Provides equal employment opportunity expertise in establishing overall operating policies, priorities, procedures, and plans.
Assists in designing and administering EEO training programs.

Initiates and/or implements education programs for managers and employees to enhance understanding of their rights and legal obligations associated with EEO and diversity, i.e., prepare and provide input on educational articles on current issues and trends in the subject field, promotes submission of articles on current EEO topics of interest.
