Breast Imaging Specialist

Company: Quadrant, Inc.

Location: Washington, DC NW

Qualifications Required:
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Current valid registration from ARRT.
  • Advanced Mammography registration through ARRT.
  • Compliance with state licensure requirements for Washington DC.
  • BLS certification from AHA.
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Breast Imaging Specialist, you will perform breast imaging procedures and related techniques, generating data for interpretation by licensed independent practitioners. Your role will include:

  • Utilizing Hologic equipment.
  • Operating 3D Tomosynthesis technology.
  • Working with DEXA equipment.
  • Conducting both screening and diagnostic mammography.

It is essential to ensure that all services are conducted in a safe environment, adhering to established guidelines and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with the imaging center team, actively seeking and providing feedback to enhance clinical practices.
