Coordinates the investigative process of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) complaints filed against the FDIC; reviews EEO Counselors reports, formal complaint documents, determines acceptance for investigation, and ensures that investigations are thorough, complete and addresses all claims sufficient enough to render a decision on the merits.

Reviews reports of investigation for thoroughness and completeness. Prepares completed reports of investigation for issuance to complainants and their representatives. Analyzes complaints of discrimination applying the appropriate theories of discrimination against the facts contained in the investigative file.

Prepares final agency decisions assessing the merits of the case, drawing conclusions, providing appropriate corrective action, if appropriate, and providing the appropriate appeal rights.

Reviews discrimination complaints, conducts inquiries, determines resolution when corrective action is warranted, notifies aggrieved individual of final interview, and prepares informal resolution agreements consistent with Federal regulations of EEO and human resources.

Reviews the decisions of Administrative Judges and the complete complaints files, including the hearing records, recommends acceptance or appeal of the Administrative Judge's decision and prepares the agency's final order.

Provides technical assistance in writing manuals, directives, and other materials relative to equal opportunity.
Identifies ways to improve complaints processing and to prevent discrimination in the workplace.
