Job Description
As a Product Manager at Visa, your primary role will be to manage and optimize our vendor relationships within the Managed Card Fulfilment sector. In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing the delivery of next-generation offerings to our customers, staying abreast of emerging trends like contactless cards, instant issuance, and eco-friendly cards, and ensuring that our issuers can effectively manage their card stock and inventory for on-time delivery to customers.
Acting as the liaison between Visa and our card fulfilment vendors, you will ensure optimal service delivery and play a crucial role in managing the services that cater to Visa's unique customer needs. Your focus will be on innovative solutions in line with current market trends and efficient inventory management.
You will be involved in every stage of the vendor management lifecycle, from strategic planning and selection to overseeing tactical activities. We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to learn, adapt to new technologies and vendor landscapes, and has a keen eye for emerging trends in the card fulfilment industry.
Your responsibilities will also include understanding product strategy, writing vendor requirements, managing relationships with card fulfilment vendors, and understanding card fulfilment services and transaction processing. You will also be involved in value-added services such as card performance management.
This role will report directly to the Director of Managed Card Fulfilment at DPS. Your role in vendor management will be central to our strategy of delivering world-class products to market, particularly as we navigate the evolving landscape of contactless and eco-friendly card solutions and strive to ensure seamless inventory management for our issuers.
Responsibilities
Own the development of the managed card fulfilment product strategy, go-to-market plans, and all elements related to product documents (concept document, business case, product backlog)
Clearly understand and articulate the value of DPS's card fulfilment products and drive the development of product, features, and functionality
Translate market and customer insights to drive product strategy and decisions
Collaborate with external contacts (e.g. Clients, 3rd Party Vendors, Prospects) and internal Visa teams (e.g., Product Marketing, Business Development) to define and execute a cohesive strategy related to a specific product or feature
Provide support for vendor management of 3rd Party Vendors ensuring billing and service levels are accurate
Qualifications
Basic
  • You have 4 years of work experience with a BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Management, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical BA/BS
Preferred
  • 5
    of work experience plus a Bachelors Degree/ Masters Preferred
  • You have 3 or more years of experience in product or vendor management or comparable experience
  • 1 year of issuer processing, product management, or vendor management experience in the financial services industry
  • Ability to build cross-functional consensus among internal and external stakeholders to drive business results
  • You have a demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment
  • You have a demonstrated ability to translate user requirements across diverse functional areas into a compelling product vision
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and influencing skills
  • You have creative problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a complex environment
  • Ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships

This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:
The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 112,500 to 141,200 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
