As the Traded Product Management Lead, you will have the overall responsibility for managing the product lifecycle of our Traded insurance portfolio, which consists of approximately $400 million in P&L responsibility.

You will set the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as engineering, design, marketing, sales, underwriting, claims, and customer service to deliver world-class products that meet the needs and expectations of our target segments.

You will also have the responsibility for building the product management discipline within the organization, establishing best practices, processes, and tools to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency across all product initiatives.

The role sits within the wider Product and Portfolio Management organization and will work closely with the 20 person team, as well as other teammates across the business.

The Main Duties And Responsibilities Of This Role IncludeConducting market research and analysis to identify customer segments, needs, pain points, opportunities, and trends in the small commercial insurance spaceDeveloping and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap that align with the company's goals and objectivesDefining and prioritizing the product backlog and features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibilityCollaborating with engineering, design, marketing, sales, underwriting, claims, and customer service teams to deliver products that meet customer requirements and exceed expectationsManaging the product launch and go-to-market activities, including developing product positioning, messaging, pricing, and distribution strategiesMeasuring and monitoring the product performance and customer satisfaction using quantitative and qualitative methodsSoliciting and incorporating feedback from customers, stakeholders, and users to continuously improve the product quality and user experienceCreating the product team, including hiring, training, mentoring, and coachingBuilding and maintaining a strong product culture within the organization that fosters innovation, collaboration, and customer-centricityPerson Specification10
years of experience in product management, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry5
