Accounting Clerk Job Description:
PrideStaff Financial is in search of an Accounting Clerk to join a local office. The Accounting Clerk will process all accounts payable and banking (payments/deposits), which will be done through QuickBooks. We want to get someone in to train with the current person before their leave begins. The ideal Accounting Clerk has multiple years of experience in AP and AR or as a Bookkeeper and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with compassion and professionalism. The Accounting Clerk is a full-time, in-office, Temporary position with an outstanding company in Fresno, CA.

Accounting Clerk Duties & Responsibilities:Complete basic bookkeeping and accounting tasksPost cash receipts, expenses, and other transactions to ledgers/journalsReview invoices, bills, vouchers, and other documents for correction Reconcile and report any discrepanciesCreate and maintain financial reportsSort and file documentsPerform calculationsProvide accounting and clerical support to the accounting departmentAccounting Clerk Requirements & Qualifications:
At Least Six Months Recent Experience In General Accounting, Accounts Payable, or Accounts ReceivableAssociate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field PreferredExperience Using Accounting SoftwareKnowledge of Accounting PrinciplesStrong Attention to DetailProficient in Using Phone Systems & Office Equipment Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills Required Excellent Organizational & Multitasking Skills Ability to Maintain Client Confidentiality & Privacy High Level of Accuracy & Willingness to Take on Extra Duties as Needed PrideStaff Hiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Jump start your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
