Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will play a crucial role in expanding Aura's footprint in the US market. You'll be responsible for the full cycle sales process (including cold outbound sales). You should be able to develop a deep understanding of our target customers and the challenges that they face.

With a focus on innovation and client satisfaction, we are committed to driving growth and success for our clients through strategic partnerships and tailored solutions. The ideal candidate has worked with accounts in management consulting and financial services (especially private equity) and has experience with value-based selling. We expect you to generate short-term opportunities via your network, create opportunities by identifying new target accounts, and become an expert in our messaging.

ResponsibilitiesDrive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycleProactively hunt for new business opportunities with management consulting firms or private equity funds as key strategic partners and clientsExecute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within target organizationsLead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing dealsCollaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions and proposals that address client needs and objectivesStay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunitiesRequirementsBachelor's degree Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise business development or sales, selling solutions valued at $24k-$100k ARR Experience selling SaaS or Alt-Data solutions to management consulting firms or private equity fundsProven track record of pipeline management, exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth in a B2B sales environmentExperience using and maintaining HubSpot (or similar CRM) for pipeline and outbound activitiesStrong understanding of the management consulting or private equity industries, including key players and the challenges firms in this space faceExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWillingness to work remotelyBenefitsCompetitive salary and commission structure Comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insuranceOpportunities for professional development and career growthDynamic and collaborative remote work environment with a focus on innovation and excellence
