Human Resource Coordinator

Carneros Resort and Spa is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Bilingual HR Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the Human Resources department by facilitating a positive and inclusive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, with a passion for people and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence.
ResponsibilitiesQualificationsLanguage Skills: Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a hospitality or service industry setting.
Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and timely.
Support hiring managers in creating a welcoming and informative onboarding experience for new employees.
Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Facilitate effective communication between management and employees to ensure a harmonious workplace.
Assist in resolving employee issues and concerns, escalating to HR management as necessary.
HR Administration:
Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and paper filing system.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Prepare and submit required reports and documentation, including EEO-1, OSHA, and other compliance-related filings.
Assist with audits and other compliance-related activities.
Training and Development:
Coordinate and schedule training sessions for employees, including compliance training, skills development, and leadership programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of employee training materials and programs.
Track and maintain training records for all employees.
HR Projects and Initiatives:
Support HR management in the implementation of HR programs and initiatives.
Participate in the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the HR department.
