Summary
The Marketing Specialist facilitates marketing creation requests and processes, as well as performs other project-based Marketing assignments. This position works closely with department Marketing Specialists, Designers, Writers, and other department personnel to recommend the best strategies to meet the goals of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the tracking, reviewing, and assigning of all creation requests.
* Serve as the marketing contact for Financial Advisors (FAs), Client Service Associates, and home office personnel, answering phone calls, e-mails, and as many questions as possible.
* Provide guidance to FAs, Client Service Associates, and home office personnel on how to request items and how to track their items, as well as where to find existing, pre-approved materials for use.
* Gather information critical to individual FA and team marketing initiatives.
* Identify digital marketing strategies and run digital marketing campaigns for FAs and teams as requested.
* Participate in weekly touch base meetings to discuss designer workload, assignments, processes, status, etc.
* Attend and participate in department and team meetings as scheduled.
* Monitor marketing and finance industries on emerging trends and seek out new processes, methods, opportunities, and ideas to help make the best recommendations to FAs, Client Service Associates, and home office personnel as it relates to their marketing initiatives.
* Assist in the development and implementation of annual marketing plans and programs FAs and other branch associates.
* Recommend branding strategies to FAs, including websites, print materials, and social media.
* Participate in the implementation of other Marketing-based projects, as directed.

Qualifications
* Proven knowledge of marketing strategy, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
* Strong customer service, interpersonal, communication skills, and attention to detail.
* General knowledge of the rules and regulations governing advertising in the securities industry.

Education and Experience
* Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
* Minimum Required: 1+ year related experience

Systems and Technology
* Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
