We are in search of a skilled and strategic Local Marketing Specialist to become an integral part of our vibrant team.

The Local Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in increasing foot traffic to Build-A-Bear's corporate locations by designing, executing, and assessing local and mall marketing strategies. This role is also pivotal in leading marketing initiatives for store openings, renovations, and closures, significantly contributing to our corporate growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive marketing integration for pop-up events, seasonal promotions, and new store launches.
  • Implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility.
  • Engage with mall marketing representatives.
  • Manage the coordination of new store opening signage kits.
  • Work alongside the field team to collaborate with high-traffic and tourist locations to maximize visibility.
  • Assist the field team with local marketing inquiries.
  • Partner with the Experiential Marketing team to elevate local window displays and signage.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in project management.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing event planning, grand openings, tourism marketing, or advertising.
