Job Overview

The Case Management Application Specialist plays a pivotal role in the enhancement and deployment of technology solutions within the Case Management sector. Reporting directly to the Director of Case Management Business Technology, this position is essential for ensuring the effective integration and functionality of various applications used in Case Management Services.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties:

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and support of upgrades, configurations, and customizations of tools utilized by Case Management Business Technology.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the user environment and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain system integrity through regular data reviews and monitoring.
  • Adhere to system management policies and regulatory standards, ensuring documentation of procedures and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with support, product, and vendor teams to address and resolve technology-related issues.
  • Provide Level III support for system users, coordinating communications with the IT Service Desk and end users.
  • Design, generate, and maintain reports that align with business requirements.
  • Foster effective working relationships with project teams, clinical leaders, business leaders, and ITG leaders.
  • Interface with ITG to ensure compliance with best practices, particularly regarding electronic health records and the Case Management Repository.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and positive attitude, emphasizing customer service orientation.
  • Collaborate with the Case Management Education Team to develop training programs for new and existing users.
  • Utilize knowledge of case management functions to propose technology-based solutions for business challenges.
  • Engage in various testing phases including UAT, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and System testing.
  • Contribute to the development of automation and technical strategies based on prioritized tasks.
  • Actively participate in the lifecycle management of assigned applications, demonstrating knowledge of the supporting infrastructure.
Required Skills and Experience:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an analyst in product development or implementations.

- Strong background in manual testing within quality assurance.

- Experience in customer service and end-user support.

- Proficient in data validation and collaboration with developers.

- Familiarity with test plans and cases.

- Experience in the healthcare sector is essential.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of automated testing.

- Experience with case management tools such as Careport, Midas, or Ensocare.
