We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance with regulations, and timely disbursement of payments to employees. The Payroll Analyst will also play a key role in maintaining payroll records, implementing best practices, and collaborating with various departments to streamline processes.

Your Impact

Payroll Processing:

  • Participate in end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and distribution of salaries, wages, commission, stock and bonuses.
  • Ensure accuracy in payroll computations and adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.

Compliance:

  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure payroll compliance.
  • Assist with payroll compliance matters including multi-state/multi-jurisdiction tax withholding, garnishments, and key annual audits (i.e., 401(k), workers compensation, external audit, etc).
  • Implement and enforce policies and procedures to guarantee accurate and legal payroll processing.
  • Process prior quarter adjustments/amendments in preparation for year-end.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with HR, finance, Legal and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll matters and provide timely and accurate information.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in payroll management.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; OR related experience.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst or in a similar payroll-related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in ADP Workforce Now payroll software and MS Office applications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with both California payroll a big plus
